Titanic: Machine Learning from Disaster
This is a introductory project to Data Science & Machine Learning where the data set is provided by Kaggle.com. On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank after colliding with an iceberg, killing 1502 out of 2224 passengers and crew. This sensational tragedy shocked the international community and led to better safety regulations for ships. The data set is divided into a training and test data set and it has information about passengers like Ticket Class, Age, sex etc. The objective is to build a model using the training data set to predict the survivors in the test data.
